I don't think anything could have prepared me for this session, I have zero hesitation in saying that it was a pivotal moment in my career as a photographer. I remember opening the front door of Josh and Erin's home and being so nervous and afraid of being present during such a tender time in their lives. Instantly I was greeted my "Nana" their enormous beautiful white dog, followed by Evie - Josh & Erin's full of smiles, sweet daughter, and than Josh's kind Mother. I stayed in their home for hours, capturing every endless detail of the day they welcomed their sweet girl into the world.
As a Mother I have the deepest respect for how tender of a time your labor, delivery and the hours following are. I left this day feeling as if I spent the day with family, because by the end of it that's what we were. We toasted to Hazel's birthday, we laughed, talked, shared and I documented. I was so completely inspired by this experience, I left feeling honored to have been a part of what was one of the most memorable and important days of their lives and it's a memory that I'll always cherish.
